When wearing for the first time, wear it one Monday.
Clean the rudraksha with mustard oil. Place the rudraksha bead in the left hand. Count the mantra chanting with your right hand. Wear the rudraksha after 108 chanting.

Some people might be allergic to this rudraksha and so they must avoid wearing it.
Since heat is the characteristic quality of one mukhi rudraksha, the wearer is expected to get body heat while wearing it.
While wearing this bead, chant ‘Om Hreem Namah’ nine times in the morning as well as evening.
